How GESA collects, uses, and protects information from visitors, clients, and job applicants.

Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, plus a small amount of technical information created automatically when you visit this site.
- Enquiry forms — your name, email address, company, the division you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field.
- Careers applications — your name, email address, the division you are applying to, your resume, and any accompanying note.
- Server logs — your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, recorded automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

How we use it
We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry, to scope and carry out work you ask us about, to assess job applications, and to keep ordinary business records. We use server logs to keep the site available and to investigate abuse or technical faults.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences.

Data retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards as part of our business records.
We keep applications so that we can consider you for future openings. If you would rather we deleted yours, write to us and we will.

Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their work.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us government identifiers, financial details, health information, or other sensitive personal data through the forms on this site.

Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent you have given. Write to us at the address below and we will respond.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU or UK GDPR, or a US state privacy law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Job applicants
Information you send through the careers page is used only to assess your application and, if you are hired, to begin employment records. It is seen by the hiring team and the people involved in that decision.
We do not run background checks or contact referees without telling you first.

Children’s privacy
This site is aimed at businesses and job seekers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and we will note any material change here rather than making it quietly.
